Oprah O Magazine Has Celebs Model Hot Fall Trends

Ready for fall? Ready or not, it’s coming! I love fall because of the cooler weather and because all the new fashion trends come out. If you’re a fashionista, this is the BEST time of year. Oprah’s magazine, O, had celebs model some of the hot new trends for fall and dish on their own preferences. Celebs Laverne Cox from ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ Katharine McPhee from ‘Scorpion,’ Caitlin Fitzgerald from ‘Masters of Sex,’ Analeigh Tipton from ‘Love Story,’ Emily Wickersham from ‘NCIS,’ Tracee Ellis Ross from ‘Black-ish,’ Eiza Gonzalez from ‘From Dusk Till Dawn,’ and Jessica Lucas from ‘Gracepoint’ played model for the day for O. O also asked the celebs about their favorite trends. Here’s some of what they had to say.

Laverne Cox on her fall obsession:
“I want a custom wig, something Beyonce-esque. That’s the fashion purchase I’m thinking of more than clothes. But I have to check with my money manager because a good one is really expensive.”

Analeigh Tipton on her fashion crush:
“Marlon Brando. I think women should try a classic men’s look, and he had it pretty down pat.”

Caitlin Fitzgerald on the big, plaid coat she wore for the shoot:
“I’m from Maine, and this lumberjack chic look reminds me of home.”

Tracee Ellis Ross on her fall obsession:
“None. I am 41 years old. By this age I’ve collected a wardrobe and don’t need to buy a lot. I wear things I’ve worn for years. Shoes are the only thing that I switch up.”

Forty-one doesn’t mean you have to stop caring about fashion! Part of the fun is buying new stuff. Is it just me or have fashion trends gotten broader, so there’s something for everyone? It used to be there were some years I hated because none of the styles suited me. Now, there’s enough variety every season so that there’s something for everyone.
