I know we already had our “feel good video” of the day, but I couldn’t resist posting this one as well. Did you hear about Amy Van Dyken’s terrible accident, where she injured her spinal cord? It left her partially paralyzed. Well, Amy, who won SIX gold medals at the Olympics in 1996 and 2000, clearly has applied that Olympic will to her recovery. She posted videos to her Instagram page showing her taking her first steps! RELATED: Here’s another feel good video: what’s your definition of success?
Amy was aided by an exoskeleton around her legs and a walker, but she DID IT! She stood up for the first time in two-and-a-half months.

Amy’s amazing progress just goes to show what a positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to work hard can do :).
