This week, Lana Del Rey released another music video. This one’s for “Summertime Sadness” and follows in that DIY vintage style she did for “Video Games” and “National Anthem.” The Spice Girls also booked a gig. This time they’re set to perform at the closing ceremony for the London Olympics. And Mumford and Sons have finally revealed the details for their upcoming sophomore record Babel. All that and more below.

  • Spice Girls At Olympics: Yesterday we heard that The Who would be performing at the upcoming London Olympics. Now, word from Rolling Stone is that The Spice Girls are set to perform at the games’ closing ceremony on August 12th. The gals will perform two singles including “Wannabe.”
  • Babel: Mumford & Sons have announced the name of their next highly anticipated record – Babel. It’ll be released September 25 (as previously reported). The new record will include twelve songs. This record will go hand in hand with their tour, which kicks off August 1 in New Jersey. Be sure to listen to the record before you go to one of their shows though. It’s always more fun to sing along, don’t you think?
  • 15 Sensational Superhero Songs: Last week we told you about Billboard‘s 15 sensational superhero songs, now they’ve made another list of The 5 Best Songs About Batman, which makes sense because it’s Dark Knight Rises weekend! Their list includes songs like Prince‘s “Batdance,” Panic! At The Disco’s “Mercenary,” and R. Kelly‘s “Gotham City.”
  • Summertime Sadness: Lana Del Rey has a new music video. It seems like she’s going to be doing a music video for all of the songs on her Born To Die record. This one’s for “Summertime Sadness,” and features a lot of crying and jumping off buildings. Check it out:
