It’s been a good year or so for fans of classic rock and roll—the past year has been marked with tours by Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band and The Who, as well as a handful of dates by the Rolling Stones, who continue to defy all laws of biology, chemistry and physics by performing live and onstage. And now you can add Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to that list of classic rock artists hitting the road lately.
While Petty and his Heartbreakers are still working in-studio on a new record to be released in 2014 (i.e., they have no new record to sell or tour behind), they’re still willing to roll out a North American summer tour, with multiple-night stands held in Alabama, New York, Los Angeles, and Delaware.
