Heidi Klum is America’s Got Talent newest judge! That is right, the blonde beauty joins the hit NBC reality show when it returns this summer.

In what I think is a rather interesting choice Heidi will join Howard Stern, Mel B and Howie Mandel at the judges table on America’s Got Talent. TMZ was first to break the news that the Project Runway star would now be part of the talent show. She will not only be another female voice for the show but will become the fourth judge, which is something the show has never had before. Up until now there has only been three judges. If you recall Mel B. replaced Sharon Osbourne after Sharon abruptly quite the show at the end of last season.
As I said above TMZ broke the news about Klum’s newest gig but we have yet to hear anything from her camp. However this is not a rumor, the celebrity website has obtained a photo of the new set that includes Heidi as a judge. Word on the street is that the mother of four is on her way to New Orleans as we speak to join the rest of her co-workers for the first round of auditions that are scheduled to begin tomorrow. How is it that the show scored the model? Well apparently negotiations were down to the wire but NBC was able to make a deal that now puts Heidi as one of four people who will either make someone’s dreams come true or crush them.
As for how Heidi’s new job will impact her current gig on Project Runway, that remains to be seen. The 11th season of PR is currently airing on Lifetime, so perhaps her team has some how managed to work her schedule so she can be on both shows. I am sure that once we hear from Klum herself on her joining AGT she will no doubt answer that question for all her fans. I will say this, I follow her on Twitter and so far she has been mum about the suvject.
