In a recent interview with Australian radio station Triple M, the guitarist reminisced about catching his mom, a costume designer, and David Bowie in the act when he was a young child.
“My mom started working professionally with David Bowie at first…I’m pretty sure that’s how it started and then it turned into some sort of mysterious romance that went on for a while after that.”
Slash went on to say that Bowie hung around a lot back in the day, but we simply wasn’t mature enough to put two and two together:
“I caught them naked once…They had a lot of stuff going on, but my perspective at eight was limited. Looking back on it I knew exactly what was going on.”
But hey, Slash seems to be pretty well adjusted about finding Ziggy Stardust with his mom. ”He was cool…I liked David a lot.”
