And Interpol‘s Paul Banks has announced a solo tour. All that and more below.

- Nicki Minaj Clears Up ‘I’m a Republican’ Verse: Earlier this week, President Obama talked about Nicki Minaj for some reason. Some were concerned that she might be a republican for her verse on Lil Wayne‘s new Dedication 4 mix, but she’s cleared it all up. On Tuesday she tweeted, “Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do *sends love & support* @BarackObama.” So there you have it. Nicki Minaj isn’t really a Republican, she just likes to play with our heads. Source: Rolling Stone
