I had a feeling that she’d take them trick-or-treating across the pond! Gwen Stefani, who earlier in the day was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London, did her best to fight jet lag and took her two kids, Kingston and Zuma, trick-or-treating in their London neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.

Usher's Stepson Kile Glover: What Happened?
'There is no one that has been declared brain dead that has survived to being functional,' said neurologist Dr. Bren Masel, who was not treating Glover.

<P>More than a week after <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher's</a> stepson, Kile Glover, was <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">pronounced brain dead</a>
 following a traumatic head injury suffered during a <a href="/news/articles/1689261/usher-kyle-glover-jet-ski-jeffrey-s-hubbard.jhtml">jet-ski accident</a>
, the 11-year-old boy <a href="/news/articles/1690157/usher-stepson-kile-glover-taken-off-life-support.jhtml">died</a>
 of heart failure on Saturday.</P><P>Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, was reportedly taken off life support Saturday morning and died a short time later.</P><P>Given the seriousness of his injury, which resulted from blunt trauma to the head after Glover was hit by a jet-ski while floating in an inner tube on Atlanta's Lake Lanier, MTV News spoke to a neurologist about the prospects for victims of such major brain injuries.</P><P>"There is no one that has been declared brain dead that has survived to being functional," said neurologist Dr. Brent Masel, national director of the Brain Injury Association of America and medical director of the Transitional Learning Center of Galveston, Texas several days before Glover was pronounced dead. "They will not get better."</P><P>Masel, who was not treating Glover and had no first-hand knowledge of the case, explained that the prognosis in such cases is so grim because of the make-up of the brain. "When someone is declared brain dead, it's not that their brain is not functioning at all," he said. "There are two components to the brain, the cerebrum, which is the thinking part and the brain stem, which narrows and becomes the spinal cord."</P><P>The stem is the automatic part, which controls respiration and heart rate and someone can technically live without a functioning cerebrum, which is not unusual in such injuries. "The thinking part of the brain is no longer functioning and all the patient has functioning is the brain stem," he said. "Very often what happens when you're deciding if someone is brain dead, you take them off the respirator and they're not even breathing and the only thing going is their heart, which will stop functioning if you're not breathing."</P><P>Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a Jet Ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.</P><P>Asked how it's possible that Glover could have suffered such a terrible wound while the girl in the inner tube with him escaped with less serious injuries, Masel said it is part of the unpredictable nature of trauma medicine. Pointing to a jet-skiing accident he was involved in 10 years ago in which he nearly ran over a friend's son, as well as the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (whose case he helped work on), Masel said "it's a matter of millimeters."</P><P>Just a few millimeters over and Glover may have come out with a very different wound, he said, noting that there are several very vulnerable spots on the brain that can result in such injuries. "As physicians, especially with a child, it's the hardest thing in the world because very often the child sort of looks okay and there are miracles that could occur," he said.</P><P>"What I always try to do is ask, 'what would I do if this was my sister or brother?' If I were the doctor I would say, 'if this were my child this is what I would do.' Could you breathe for that patient forever? Yes, We know artificial respiration isn't adequate, [though] and it's not the same as breathing normally. You can have someone on a respirator for a long period of time and eventually the brain deteriorates. Even if they said they want[ed] to keep him on the respirator for six months, or a year and wait for a miracle, the brain [wouldn't] be the same."</P><P>The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges have been filed.</P>

Robert Plant And Alison Krauss Win Grammy Album Of The Year

<P>"I'm bewildered," <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="14245">Robert Plant</MTVNLINK> said onstage as he accepted the <MTVNLINK type="news" id="1604580">Grammy Album of the Year award</MTVNLINK> with <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="506074">Alison Krauss</MTVNLINK> on Sunday night. "In the old days we would have called this selling out, but it's a good way to spend a Sunday."</P><P>He was probably one of the few who were surprised, because <i>Raising Sand,</i> which won five trophies at Sunday night's show, is in many ways the perfect <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys/">Grammy</a> album. It features two respected veterans, a critically lauded producer, some sandpaper-and-velvet vocals and a baker's dozen of time-tested standards.</p><div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:338316" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="configParams=instance%3Dnews%26vid%3D338316" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></div><p></P><P>You're probably familiar with Robert Plant from his <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="993">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK> days, and you might be aware of producer T-Bone Burnett's work on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack (it won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2002). And if you don't know who Alison Krauss is, she possesses a haunting set of pipes and is one of the meanest fiddle players in the world. Oh, and she's won 21 Grammys, more than any other female artist and the seventh-most in history.</P><P>Really, she's the key to <i>Sand</i>'s success, and not just because of her voice (or her fiddle playing). She and Plant first met in 2004, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to legendary bluesman Leadbelly, and the former Zeppelin man was amazed by her knowledge of American Roots music — so much so that they began kicking around the idea of recording an album together. Three years later, <i>Sand</i> was released.</P><P>And while Plant possesses the more famous voice, the album's finest moments radiate from Krauss. Whether she's getting bluesy on Little Milton's "Let Your Loss Be Your Lesson" or entwining with Plant's husky voice on songs like "Please Read the Letter" and Roly Salley's winsome "Killing the Blues," she more than carries her end of the bargain.</P><P>And perhaps that's also due to producer Burnett, who handpicked the 13 songs the duo cover on <i>Sand.</i> His arrangements are sparse — giving the two voices ample room to breathe — yet dense, warm and crackling at the same time. It's a testament to his work that he's often given just as much billing as Plant and Krauss on the project ... and it's certainly justified.</P><P>To date, <i>Sand</i> has sold more than 1 million copies, heaped tons of acclaim and actually earned a Grammy last year — "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" took home the award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.</P><P>One expert was surprised not by the album's success, but by the fact that it's actually quite a good album.</P><P>"At first, the album seemed like a vanity project. ... Two names, clearly a one-off record, didn't have to be any good, you know?" <i>New York Times</i> music critic Jon Caramanica said. "Led Zeppelin fans would buy it because of Robert Plant, Alison Krauss would get a check. But it actually turned out to be a really thoughtful, really <i>good</i> record. So when you combine all that with the fact that the Grammys love to lionize one of their own, I could really see it taking home some awards." </P>

Usher's Stepson Declared Brain Dead After Jet-Ski Accident

<P>Things went from bad to worse for Kiie Glover, Usher's 11-year-old stepson. After a tragic Jet Ski accident left the <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/08/ushers-son-injured-in-jet-ski-accident/">youngster in critical condition</a> on Friday, doctors have now declared him brain dead.</P><P><a href="http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/08/usher-tameka-foster-stepson-brain-dead/" target=="_blank">TMZ</a> is reporting that Glover, who is the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted into the hospital two days ago. According to reports, the pre-teen and a friend were floating in inner tubes on Lake Lanier in Atlanta when they were struck by a man on a Jet Ski. Glover was unresponsive when he was taken out of the water and airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston; his friend, an unidentified 15-year old girl, was treated for a cut on the head and a broken arm.</P><P>According to the <a href="http://www.ajc.com/news/reports-ushers-stepson-injured-1473926.html" target="_blank"><i>Atlanta Journal-Constitution,</i></a> the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said that alcohol doesn't appear to have been a factor in the accident and the newspaper also reported that the man on the Jet Ski and Glover were part of the same group on an outing at the lake.</P><P>Foster and Usher (born Usher Raymond) were married in 2007 but divorced in 2009. The two are reportedly both present at the hospital.</P><P>Many of Usher and Foster's celebrity friends took to Twitter on Sunday (July 8) to express their deepest sympathies.</P><P>"My deepest prayers go out to Tameka, Usher and both of their families right now," Diggy Simmons wrote.</P><P>"Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove added, while television personality La La Anthony wrote: "Praying for @TamekaRaymond and her family. Asking to give her and her family strength during this difficult time. Dezi looked too cute for words dressed up as Super Mario, while his proud mom smiled and walked into the fun event.
Celebuzz caught up with the single mom at the event and asked how she stays in such great shape.
“I’m not going to tell you I can eat whatever I want. I’m not a b*tch like that,” Jaime joked. “My trainer Mike Jones kicks my butt,” she added.
Though the Hollywood mom works out hard, she indulged in some candy and had some fun painting pumpkins and a playing a few video games with her boy at the event.

Sofia Vergara Naked Photos To Be Leaked?
Is a Sofia Vergara naked photo scandal looming? The news that recent pics of a personal nature are being shopped around hit the media and it has many wondering just how personal are these pictures and how did they get into the wrong hands?
According to Hollyscoop.com pictures of Sofia are being shopped around because they are of a personal nature. The pics in question were taken off of Vergara’s soon to be husband Nick Loeb’s phone. His phone was apparently hacked and whoever has copies of the pics is looking to cash in on them big time. Now before you get too excited that you will get to see the Modern Family actress naked, I have to say that allegedly there are no full on nude photos of her that were taken.
What does that mean exactly, well it means that although there are shots of her in a bath robe and in the bedroom there are no shots of her baring it all so to speak. However they must be racy enough or personal enough as her people are calling it because her camp is all about making sure those pictures never see the light of day.
The hacker apparently got the sexy shots of Vergara because Loeb lost his phone. A source told Hollyscoop that the photos in question were taken before their July engagement and that a seller in Florida is looking to make some serious dough off of the shots. Here is what I have to say there is clearly something in the photos that Sofia does not want the world to see. I mean if they were just sexy or personal pics I highly doubt she would have her legal and management team pulling out all the stops so that they are not leaked. I mean it has to be more than a little nipple or side boob that we are talking about here.
All of that being said seriously when will these celebs learn that taking any sort of revealing pictures of themselves is never ever a good idea. I mean with everyone who has been caught up in a scandal involving inappropriate photographs you would think that these famous people would learn something. I am willing to bet that a Sofia Vergara naked photo scandal is going to happen any day and you know what she doesn’t have anyone to blame but herself. Maybe her team will be able to stop the release but with technology the way it is these days the pics are out there and someone is going to see them. That is just my two cents what do you think?

“Being 35 and taking a girl’s virginity? There was definitely a time when I overcompensated, but I’m kind of over that.”
Director Josh Radnor on Elizabeth Olsen:
“You’d be surprised by how many young actors show up not knowing their lines,” he says. “Lizzie isn’t one of them. She puts a lot of thought into her characters, but she doesn’t show her homework.”

Nahla Aubry Giddy Ups
Nahla Aubry – the stunning 4-year-old daughter of Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry – was snapped riding a horse at a local Farmer’s Market in Studio City, California on Sunday (October 28).
Halle recently opened up about fighting for a custody arrangement that would allow her to move to France with Nahla and her fiance Olivier Martinez, claiming that the stalking and invasive nature of the paparazzi is affecting her daughter’s well-being.
“I can’t grow my daughter in L.A. You take a little child who is just trying to learn about the world and have all these people with cameras chasing after her, calling things out to her about her mother. It’s starting to make her feel special and different. I want her to feel special and different, but not for the reason of being my child.”
Asked what she would do if she could manage to evade the press for just one day she states, “I’d go to the market with my daughter. Go to Santa Monica Pier and take her on a ride. Nothing special. Just live some normal life for once.”
