Prostitutes and Catholic priests are the subjects of David Bowie latest music video. The singer once again loaded up his video with famous faces – Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard take the lead in “The Next Day,” the title track from Bowie’s recently released album.

The video opens with a beggar and a priest, played by Oldman. He’s seen punching the homeless guy in the face, while a prostitute steals the money he’s made thus far. Later we’re introduced to Cotillard, who is sitting at a bar looking stunning, and sipping on a cocktail. Bowie also appears in the video, as a Christ-like character, singing on a stage and taunting Oldman. Everyone seems to be having sinful fun, but things take a turn when Cotillard palms begin to bleed, stigmata-style.

“The Next Day” music video was both written and conceived by Bowie. Check it out below:

This isn’t the first time that Oldman and Bowie  work together. They previously collaborated on 1996′s  “Basquiat” where Bowie played Andy Warhol and Oldman took on the role of painter Julian Schnabel. They both also sang on a 1995 solo album from Reeves Gabrels, a member of Bowie’s Tin Machine, titled “The Sacred Squall of Now.”

The Next Day is out now.

What do you think of the music video?
