Miranda Kerr has been fired from Victoria’s Secret!!! Okay, people are just being dramatic, it is not exactly like that…

So Miranda Kerr is one of the most famous models in the world. She is a Victoria’s Secret Angel and walked in the show for four years, she is also the first ever Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel. She has been the face of Clinique and in 2011 she was chosen to present the $2.5 million Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Treasure Bra for the fashion show. She has also been labeled as “difficult to work with” and she is “not a big seller for VS,” unlike younger Angels, like Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio.
She was in a contract with Victoria’s Secret, a $1 million contract that spanned three years, but that just expired. And it will not be renewed. So in a sense, she has been fired.
Chief marketing officer Ed Razek, was quickly on damage control putting rumors to rest about the beauty. He says that Victoria’s Secret has already extended the offer to Kerr to walk in the 2013 show.
“We have no plans to stop working with her. She can still be used for the company, but she will get a day rate, as opposed to being contracted in.”
So that is not as big of a deal as people are making it, I mean 30 years old and a Victoria’s Secret Angel is kind of old anyway. I know Heidi Klum did it, but she is Heidi Klum. I think Miranda knew a good thing only lasts so long ad she is ok with letting go.S he still can model, but let’s leave the runway to the younger gals. I’m just playing devil’s advocate here, of course I don’t think she is too old, but let’s be realistic, that is what it’s about.
