New York City rockers The Strokes recently announced that they would be releasing a new album sometime this year. Well, fellow readers, that delightful piece of nonchalant music, titled Comedown Machine, will arrive on March 26th.

The title of the record was uncovered by a Reddit user (Andersonenvy) who was fiddling around with the band’s website code on the sub-pages of their site. He found a code that was intended to be hidden, and discovered the title and artwork.

The Strokes released the first track off Comedown Machine last week, posting “One Way Trigger” on Soundcloud for a free download, but that was just a sneak peek. The album’s first official single, “All The Time,” will hit the web very soon, the band also announced. However, the single has already played on the airwaves. Seattle’s 107.7 was able to debut the track earlier this month.

Little is known about the songs on the record. The band has mentioned that they’ve been working on them since the release of their last LP, 2011′s Angles.

Comedown Machine will be released by RCA Records, and can be pre-ordered now through the band’s official site.

What do you think? Are you excited for the new Strokes album?
