This week, frontman Randy Blythe was let go on a hefty bail of $400,000. He’s not off the hook though because police are still investigating the incident that left a man dead at a Lamb of God show. Incubus announced that once their Honda Civic tour ends, they’ll be going back on hiatus. However, singer Brandon Boyd may have a solo album in the works, so it’s not all bad. - Lamb Of God Frontman Released: Last week we found out that Lamb of God’s frontman Randy Blythe was arrested on murder charges. This week he was let go on a $400,000 bail. Police will continue to investigate him for the death of fan who was pushed off the stage and later died due to injuries. Source: Billboard
- Incubus Going On Hiatus After Tour: Incubus told Billboard that they have no plans for the future. Once the band wraps up their Honda Civic Tour with Linkin Park and Mutemath, they’ll be focusing on nothing. Brandon Boyd said he’s been playing around with another solo album and that’s basically all he sees happening right now. “As far as Incubus right now, we’ll probably take another break. Hopefully it won’t be as long, but what we’d like to do is arrive with the best intentions and try to create music from a sense of urgency as well as purity and not necessarily based on a schedule.” Boyd knows that this can be tough on fans, but he believes it’s the right thing to do.
- Miley Cyrus’ Home Got Raided: Miley Cyrus‘ home was mistakenly raided by armed police men after a prankster put in a call about a possible kidnapping and shooting at the house. There were also rescue crews and helicopters standing by to save the teen star. Now authorities are trying to track down the guy who tricked them. If caught, he/she could spend some time in jail. - Stephen Colbert Announces Fest Performers: This year’s StePhest Colbchella, brought to you by Stephen Colbert, will have performances by The Flaming Lips, fun., Grandmaster Flash, Grizzly Bear and Santigold.
