Their film has swept the awards season thus far, and "The Artist" co-stars Berenice Bejo and Jean Dujardin were both on-hand for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening (January 28).
The 35-year-old Argentine-French actress worked the arrivals area alongside her director Michel Hazanavicius at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland while Mr Dujardin suited up for his solo turn on the red carpet.
As for the reason behind their appearances, Miss Bejo and Mr Dujardin are both among the stars selected to pass out a trophy while joining fellow presenters such as George Clooney, Octavia Spencer, Laura Dern, Deborah Ann Woll and Stana Katic.
Meanwhile, Mr Hazanavicius is in the running for Best Feature Film honors while facing a field of contenders including Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris), David Fincher (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), Alexander Payne (The Descendants) and Martin Scorsese (Hugo).
